Underclock Taker is a half-generic Cyberse Link-2 monster with 1000 ATK. Underclock Taker became a very popular Link monster since the Booster Pack: Extreme Force came out.

"Underclock Taker" needs 2 Effect Monsters as Link Materials for it's Link Summon. "Underclock Taker" can weaken your opponents monster(s) with its effetct: Once per turn, you can target 1 face-up monster you control and 1 face-up monster your opponent controls. Then the opponent's monster loses ATK equal to the ATK of your monster Linked to "Underclock Taker". This effect is really good for players who play Decks like "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Magician", "Odd-Eyes", "Performapal", "Deskbot", "Blue-Eyes", "Fluffal", "World Chalice" and many other Decks.

Player can easily protect "Underclock Taker" with the "Moon Mirror Shield" Equip Spell Card. "Underclock Taker" works well with "United We Stand" and "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon": If the player controls 6 face-up monsters including "Underclock Taker" and "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" equipped with "United We Stand", "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" will have 7300 ATK & 6800 DEF then "Underclock Taker" will weaken opponent's monster ATK by 7300. When "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" inflicts Battle Damage by battling opponent's monster; all Battle Damage is doubled, and if opponent's monster has 0 ATK then "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon will inflict 14600 damage to opponent.

This card can be used for as Link Material for Link Summon of "Decode Talker", "Excode Talker", "Encode Talker", "Firewall Dragon", "Vector Scare Archfiend", "Curious, the Lightsworn Dominion", Borreload Dragon" and other Link Monsters.
"Underclock Taker" can be Special Summoned from player's GY (Graveyard) using "Shuffle Reborn", "Monster Reborn", "Soul Charge", "Monster Reborn Reborn" and other cards & effects. When this card is Special Summoned from player's GY (Graveyard), player can use it's Left Link Marker to Special Summon 1 monster from their Extra Deck.

If player controls more than 1 "Underclock Taker" they can activate "Undeclock Taker"'s effect up to 3 times because it's name in it's effect isn't mentioned (Card Effect: "Once per turn: You can target 1 face-up monster this card points to, and 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; the opponent's target loses ATK equal to the ATK of the target this monster points to, until the end of this turn.")

"Underclock Taker" is definitely good Link Monster which can everyone play with a good effect. It's Link Markers aren't so good but if "Underclock Taker" is used well they can be good in some Decks.
